This 1971Yamaha xs-650 is a fine example of, one of the the most sought after models. It started as a very easy restoration, as it was a very clean original bike to begin with.
Factory Yamaha Stripping On Tank
The bike was obviously the 71 candy gold color when new. The owner that restored this bike from the frame up had it professionally painted the two tone silver that it is today.
It really is stunning with all the factory chrome and silver, with the factory Yamaha stripping on the tank. The previous owner told us that to his knowledge the motor has never been apart. It runs great and starts first kick even when cold.
Has only been ridden about 150mi since the resto. Much time and attention to detail has been spent on this beautiful bike.
All the old rubber grommets, fork seals, Fuel lines, petcocks, and tires are new.
