I bought my xs a couple of years ago cause I liked the stance of the rigid frame. I wanted to build a raw hotrod inspired bike.  I changed the fork form stock xs to a shorter T500 Suzuki fork with a T500 drum and a 21 inch wheel with an Avon Speedmaster tire.

The look was very nice now but a had ground clearance problems. So I put on a 525X16 Firestone car tire on the rear and solved the problem and gave it a real hotrod look.

I hand painted the tank  and found a 1923 T Ford tail light on the web, , the rear fender is the WL -the part you normally throw away if you want to build a traditional bobber, I am still looking for a worn bates style seat.
