Warren Wall – This is my 79 xs650. She was a farm bike in a previous life. When I got her the engine, and most of the bike, was coated in hayseed and what I assume was cow shit from the smell. But with some fresh oil and a points adjustment she fired up. I stripped her down and chopped the frame. Hardtail is TC Bros. Front end rebuilt and lowered 2″ with Hughs Hand Built lowering spacers.
Also HHB Pma kit, and slim line front master cylinder.Rebuilt calipers front & rear, with stainless braided brake lines. Rear master cylinder from Mikes XS. Engine top end rebuilt with new rings and valve guides. Electronics tank, sissy bar, battery box, rear master cylinder mount, brake pivot, head light mount, turn signal mounts, frame gussets, seat pivot, seat pan, leather work, and paint by me. The rear fender is a trailer fender that I narrowed 1″ and radius’d to fit the tire. New cables. Simplified wiring. Shinko 270 rear tire. Chen Shin front tire. I think that’s about it.
