it’s time to showcase another incredible Yamaha XS650 build from our very own Facebook Community. We’re putting the spotlight on Jethro Tozer’s 1981 XS, and let me tell you, this bike is a real head-turner.

Jethro has put in some serious work on this machine, starting with the front end. He’s rocking an XL500 front wheel and a pair of 39mm HD forks that have been lowered by 2 inches.

The handlebars? Custom-made by the man himself. But the real showstopper here is the gas tank – it came straight from a grasstrack sidecar outfit, and it looks absolutely killer on this XS650.

Moving to the rear, Jethro has outfitted his ride with an HD swingarm, back wheel, and brake caliper. He’s also upgraded the ignition with a Boyer unit and crafted his own pipes and other bits and pieces.

And check out that alternator – it’s a 3-phase unit that’s sure to keep this beast running smoothly.

The custom work doesn’t stop there, though. Jethro has fabricated his own sissy bar, foot controls, and even an S&S 2-into-1 intake. It’s clear that he’s put his heart and soul into this build, and the result is nothing short of incredible.

From every angle, Jethro’s 1981 XS650 is a testament to his skill, creativity, and dedication to the craft. It’s bikes like this that make our community so special.
