Paul Ewens – This was an 1981 xs special. Been moving it around the shop for the 10 years one day my daughter wanted a project with dad so we did a little research stripped it down cut off the back got a bunch a parts from TC Bros hard tail forward controls fender cables chain tensioner light from Monster Craftsman ,rattle can paint from the hardware store – daughters chose colours did the weld ing myself took a lot of advice and consultation many nights …and many pints from a couple pals that helped with wiring ….and the pints .i think she turned out alright for a first time garage build runs great.
My daughter has told me it’s her ride when she gets her license in a few months
We’re now starting another project this winter as these Canadian winters are long …
