This was another $500 special i picked up. I spent a few year playing around with it until my friend came over with his new harley, then i though damn i better get this thing together and running. Its no show bike, but when we ride it sure gets the looks.
Its a 1972 xs2 with a weld on TC bros hard tail. I am a journeyman metal fabricator so naturally i did all the metal work. The battery box, electrical oil bag, fener struts, pipes, fork brace, headlight struts and chain roller are all one off parts I made.
She runs like a top now that timing and carbs are all tuned up too. I’m working on a 1981 cb900 custom cafe racer, but i must say that this xs is keeper.
