Last winter I started working on a XS650 SE Heritage, imported from Canada back in 1987. I bought the bike from Heiden Tuning, an XS specialist who has his shop in the city I live in.
They checked the engine and replaced parts that needed to be replaced. Since it was my first build and I was and still am a novice, some things had to be done by Heiden Tuning.
Things like sanding (hours and hours), polishing, grinding and painting I did myself. The bike is inspired by builds of the wrenchmonkees, I don’t know which category it fits in to…?
It was build on a budget but its a blast to ride! Next winter some things will be changed, still not happy about the battery box.
