This bike stated off as a stock 78′ Special , I felt the NEED for SPEED ! And felt that a Street / Tracker would be the way to go.. So, the bike was completely torn down . First thing was Cleaning up the frame ,removed all un necessary crap , then the welds were smoothed out and molded. I wanted that extra detail , clean and smooth . Tank and rear fender were repl’d with earlier DT125 pieces altered to work , stock side covers were smoothed out , they can be used if , you want more of a street look .
Or removed for a more tracker look . Which also, exposes fabricated aluminum battery/electrical box and air cleaners . I painted the bike in a really bright heavy pearl lime green added some kool Roth style graphics and urethane cleared everything . I then lowered the bike , made the seat ,exhaust changed out headlight /speedo , taillight and just about everything else. Then it was all about CHROME , POLISHING and some BRASS. The ignition system was all replaced. This bike was just completed and is ready to SHOW & GO !
