Kyle – This is a ’79 xs650 that I built a few years back. I custom built the goose-neck frame. The tail section is 1″ under stock. The springer front end is a D&D, shortened, with a 21″ spoolie and an Avon Speedmaster tire. Wassel gas tank painted by Kevin of Speed and Noise. Custom seat pan wrapped in hand-tooled leather, done in house. Rear wheel is an 18″ aluminum, with a super-narrow Firestone tire. Taillight is 1940’s, refurbished, with original glass lens. The motor has been thoroughly gone through and is in great shape. This bike is kick only, but the starter is still on the motor should you chose to convert it. Running the stock charging system….
Yamaha’s been running them for more than 30 years, no need to change it. This bike has a clean title. This bike is a runner, not for the long haul… But if you want to go fast, and look good doing it, this is the bike for you.
