I bought this 1982 XS650 for $700 it was a barn find that hadn’t been started in over 15 years. It was my first motorcycle purchase ever.
I stripped it down to nothing and built it back with about $500 worth of parts.
Not a bad build for about 1200 bucks.
And it runs like a top.
And luckily has a good charging system still. I’ve posted before and after pics.
I actually enjoyed the build more than I do owning or riding the bike.
