From the heart of the Netherlands, Brett has embarked on a journey to transform his Yamaha XS650 into a work of art.

Stripped down to its bare essentials, this bike is being meticulously rebuilt in Brett’s garage, showcasing his passion for custom motorcycle building.

The first thing that catches the eye is the striking red paint job adorned with cool graphics, giving the bike a unique and vibrant personality.

Brett’s attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the build.

“I like the new old-school seat and the special paint,” he shares, highlighting his appreciation for blending classic and modern aesthetics.

Brett’s dedication to craftsmanship is further exemplified by the custom parts he has fabricated himself.

“Make myself a lot of parts like the brake link bar,” he explains.

The brake link bar, along with the custom risers, are testament to his skill and patience.

“The self-made risers take a lot of time,” Brett notes, underscoring the effort and precision involved in creating these bespoke components.

One of the standout features of Brett’s Yamaha XS650 is the custom exhaust system.

Unlike many who opt for pre-made solutions, Brett chose to craft his own from stainless steel. “Exhaust is made from stainless steel and not ordered like most; this is custom to the kick pedal side,” he proudly states.

This personal touch not only enhances the bike’s performance but also adds to its unique character.

The photos Brett sent in provide a comprehensive view of his project from various angles, each shot revealing the intricacies of his work. The garage setting adds an authentic backdrop, emphasizing the hands-on nature of this build.

From the sleek lines of the frame to the meticulous placement of each component, it’s clear that Brett’s Yamaha XS650 is more than just a motorcycle—it’s a labor of love.

As Brett continues to work on his bike, we eagerly anticipate the final product.

His journey serves as an inspiration to all motorcycle enthusiasts, demonstrating that with time, dedication, and a passion for custom builds, one can create a truly unique and personal machine. Stay tuned for more updates on Brett’s incredible Yamaha XS650 transformation.
