Here’s an incredible build from one of our members, who sent us five fantastic photos of his Yamaha XS650. Capturing the bike from various angles, including two shots of him proudly standing next to it, this project is a testament to determination and creativity. Our member’s journey with this 1983 XS650 began in an unconventional way. “I purchased this bike for $200 in boxes,” he recalls. What started as a collection of parts soon transformed into a stunning hardtail chopper. He built the hardtail himself, with the exception of the axle plate, which he sourced from TC Bros.

The bike’s sleek silver color gives it a classic and timeless appeal. The attention to detail and craftsmanship is evident in every angle. Despite having only about $900 invested in this build, the bike stands out and garners significant attention. “It gets more attention than the $30,000 HD’s that I park next to hahaha,” he proudly shares.

In one of the photos, you can see the close-up details of the bike, showcasing the quality of work that went into the build. The silver paint shines brilliantly, and the custom hardtail frame adds a unique and aggressive stance to the motorcycle.
