1979-teacher-xs6501 4

Thanks for looking all!! I guess I’ll call it the “After School Special” as I am a high school social studies teacher by day.

The bike was a 1979 basket case that had sat for about 25 years. This was built over 18 months on late Friday nights and weekends.

My dad, Tom M., a retired car mechanic painted the tins and his old racing mate Tom Robinson old school Triumph/Brit guru (in western NY) did the major frame welding for me and gave me a masters crash course on fabrication.

All the other fabricating and motor work was done in 1 1/2 car garage with my crap welder in Maryland (a block away from DC).

The goodies:
modified Voodoo hardtail
late 60’s BSA modified tank
one off rear fender
Hughes Hand built PMA
PAMCO ignition
lots of MikesXS orders

Big thanks to my dad and Tom Robinson
