Lindsay foster – My chop build started as 4 boxes of parts, a frame n engine. The idea straight away was to build a 70s styled skinny chopper. I bought a factory metalworks hardtail, welded that on n started to mock the bike up. I wanted to run a 21 up front, so made an early xl250 front end fit in the stock Xs trees.
Once I’d mounted the tank, n guard, made up a sissy, the stainless bars, pipes and the King queen seat pan. Was stoked how it looked so pulled it all down n painted it all. It’s been the best little bike and a heap of fun. I’m now in the process of fitting an 8″ over springer and spool 21.
