I used to sneak this bike out when I was a teenager. A couple years ago I asked my Dad what he was doing with that old 650 out back. He said “Come get it”. I had it transported from NJ to CA. I cleaned it up and now she rides nice.
Made a leather seat for it. Dropped the bars down/back. Blasted and powder-coated a few parts. Respoked the wheels. Rebuilt carbs and did full re-wire. Called it good.
She does 90+ on the freeway (had someone ride next to me to verify). Fun bike.
