I started with two 1974 xs650s.
One was a full bike – no title. The other was a titled frame so I worked on the titled frame first before fitting the motor.
I cut the neck gusset out and made my own and got rid if the neck lock.
I then installed the motor and hard tail.
I then lowered the front end 2 inches.
I went with a narrowed sportster tank that sits up high.
I also used high narrow bars and did the old school double white wall shinko out back and an Avon speed master in front.
The bike is very fun to ride and has plenty of giddup and go.
