Jason barratt – So this in my xs650 that i built for the australian ‘chopped rod and custom show’ 2015.
The frame is an xs1 front with a tc bros hardtail 2 inch stretch rear. The engine is out of my daily xs650 cafe racer running a pamco ignition, sparks alternator and 32mm mikuni carbs. 21 inch avon speed master front and 18 inch firestone rear. Lowbrow tank and seat. Hughs hand built 2 inch lowered forks got the stance sitting just right.
Custom engine mounts, bars, foot pegs and rear fender.
The whole build took me 1 week to do, and i left it out to weather for a few months to get the patina just right.
The bike did not miss a beat all weekend, running the quarter mile dirt track flat out with no breaks but it was awesome.
