I bought a stock 1979 xs 650 from my uncle back in 1996 when I was in High School.
Loved the bike as a first bike and the price was awesome for a kid.
About 5 years ago I started a slow process of stripping the bike and hacking off extra metal.
With lots of inspiration from xs 650 chopper posts, I am finally near completion.
With a little more wiring, brake work and tuning, she will finally be road worthy once again.
