From one ugly, tired looking, uncared for ’75 stock XS to what you see now. The concept was simple. Trash the Funky and build a decent ‘Bar Hopper’. Flat and Textured Black with clear coat on the sandblasted alumin. makes for a easy to touch up.

Had to have the drag bars and forward controls which I extended. The seat I got as a ebay custom which I cut down to fit and the shorter shocks bring down the butt end. Time involved was one month almost to the day and the cost — well if you’ve ever done a bike before, then you can guess it’s never cheap but this one was under a grand.

Shocks and controls cost the most. I’ve done a few other bikes and you NEVER get back what you put into it. It was Fun and looking to do another, even at 62. — Some kids Never grow up!
