steel xs650

My first xs650, but not my first build. Took me 4 years to get this machine on the road again.

Harley streetbob 19″ rims.

Rebuild engine

New power dynamo ignition from Heiden Tuning… very nice!

Home made:

Hardtail , made from crome-molby steel.

Welded by someone who knows how

Zadle (old leather from a couch)

Forward controls

Chain tensioner (not yet in use)

Fork stabilizer

The seat is suported by a scooter suspension.

The seat moves on a crank from a bicycle, sawed out of the frame. (Excuse my english).

The frame is sandblasted, then moisturised with salt water en when fully rusted treated with Owatrol.

I just had my first 50 kilometers with this lady and it works out fine with us.

When it runs completely smooth the rear fender and tank get painted black high gloss.

Hope you like it.
