Arjan van Veghel out of Holland – After having build a XS750 café racer it was time to build something else. I Bought a ’75 XS650 and broke my heelbone while staring the damn thing. While still in a plaster cast I grinded the whole bike in two!
Project started:
Made a sort of paralever rear suspension,
Titan exhaust, Single carb conversion, Seat,
Handlebar’s with all controls inside gas, brake, clutch and brake light switch,
Rebuild the wheels,
Electric box ( I dont use the kicker anymore) Oil sump, Made everything by myself..
Mounted a old moped fuel tank and took it for a ride Bike runs great.
Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in Amsterdam.
Still thinking what to do with the painting.. Now need to try to make a nice story 😒 hoped the pics would do that for themselves.. Did all fabrication myself.. Now I am trying to match the rear fender with the fuel tank and then maybe a nice paint job.
