Josh shared a heartfelt story with us about Betsy that really highlights the deep connections we form with our bikes. “My dad had ‘Betsy’ since 1986. When he passed away last November, she became mine,” Josh wrote. It’s clear that Betsy isn’t just a bike; she’s a cherished family heirloom.

In the pictures, you can see Betsy’s classic lines and the unique character that comes with a well-loved, vintage bike. Josh mentioned that she’s a ’73 with a chopped frame and, as far as he can tell, a ’74 engine. The work he’s done on her really shines through in the photos.

“She’s a ’73 chopped frame with I think @ 74 engine,” Josh said. After inheriting Betsy, Josh didn’t just let her sit idle. He rolled up his sleeves and got to work. “I replaced the engine and did some minor work so now she runs great,” he explained. It’s evident that Josh has put a lot of love and effort into making sure Betsy is road-ready and looking sharp.
