Bought this bike complete for $200. It hadn’t been cranked in 25 years. Spent a few minutes cleaning the carbs and working out some electrical issues and fired it up. After that I started chopping!
Went with a tc bros weld on hardtail. 21 inch front dirt bike hoop and switched to an 18 inch in the rear. E bomb for the electronics hide, pma kit, electronic ignition, and a anti-gravity small case battery.
The original tank I was going to use was 1974 Yamaha dr360 tank but it built pressure and split on the first few test runs. So i switch to a 2 gallon high tunnel wassel and went with clip ons to give the low profile look to it.
After a few months of riding to make sure everything is going to jive I’ll take it back down for paint and the final assembly. The is my first ever motorcycle and the first build I’ve ever done.
