Bike started out as a completely stock 1977 XS650. I’m sure I pissed off some of the purest out there by chopping up a completely cherry 77 bike!
I used the TC brothers weld on hardtail. Found some handlebars in a shop for 10 bucks, cut those down and made them a unique bend of my own, dirtbike throttle and sport bike levers.
Shaved the forks and used an R6 front caliper mated to the stock wheels and rotor which are drilled, custom bracket to make that work.
Custom rear caliper mount and spacers with a Brembo master cylinder.
Forward controls are all handmade, as well as custom gusseting up on the headstock.
Upgraded electrical includes a PMA charging system now, fake oil tank houses the electrical along with a fake oil line to run the wiring and ignition.
Bike won best bobber here at the 2017 Las Vegas Bikefest.
