This bike is a 1974 Yamaha xs 650 Standard (also known as a TX 650) that has been completely re-built from the ground-up. Certain modifications have been done to the frame to accommodate the intended changes and then it all got media blasted and powder coated satin black for a long lasting durable finish.

The motor top end has been re-built with new pistons & rings and all new gaskets and seals. A Mikuni VM34 carb has been used in conjunction with a Wise Guys 2 into 1 intake specifically jetted for the xs 650 and coupled to a pair of CNC machined intake manifolds.

A UNI free flow air filter was installed as well. The exhaust is a custom made scrambler style set-up with internal baffles (they appear to be straight pipes but they do in fact have mufflers installed).

Both the head light and tail light are new LED units that are super bright and turn those dark roads into a readable landscape. The tank we used on this bike is from a 1974 Yamaha YZ450 and the seat set-up is from Hot Wing Glass.

The paint work was done in-house using custom Matrix Systems colors and many layers of top coat for a deep finish. The wheels are 19″ front and rear utilizing a custom made wheel conversion kit from Covolet engineering and design.
Both wheels are wearing Duro rubber. The front brakes have a Nissan master cylinder fed through a braided stainless steel line and the rear brakes are fed through a Brembo master cylinder.
New brake pads front and rear were installed during the re-build as well. A great riding bike that can handle highway speeds with no problem and has a lot of lower end for any logging roads you may want to venture down.
Around town riding is a breeze with 3rd gear at around 2500 rpm’s. The bike is for sale for $6,500.00 in cash. If you would like to schedule a time to come by to check out the bike feel free to give a call to set that up. (360) 386-9374
