This is the first Metric built by our Motorcycle Club. Pretty easy to work on, the hardest part was finding parts for Yamahas Pre 78 (for the few parts that don’t interchange).
Hardtailed it. Put S&S Shorty Carb on it. Changed to Sportster Tank, then pinstriped. Threw fishtails (Loud as F***) on. Leather pan seat. Triangle light.
Over all a cool little project and fun to ride. I’m used to Harley’s, but have to say the XS community is by far more welcoming and helpful.
