This Bike was built for Travis in Scottsdale AZ. He told me he wanted lots of black, with raw metal tank and rear section and for the bike to have a Mad Max look.
I started by powder coating the wheels black and wrapping them in some new tires. Went flat black on the frame, fork legs and most of the motor.
I tried to make it look as bare bones as possible, leaving nothing under the seat. I made the rear section out of 20 gauge steel and hid all the wiring and battery under there, then I cut out the tank sides and dished them out for the cafe look. Then I put a 7 inch headlight and some clip on bars to finish off the front end and had the seat wrapped in some black and ox blood leather.
I think this is one of my favorite XS’s I have built so far. Hope you like it too, I know Travis does.
