Eric – Howdy, I love this site. Here are some pics of my 83 XS650, it’s the second one I’ve had. Bought this bike as a non running project, got it running the first day (although not well). The bike smoked badly on the left side and had all kinds of electrical issues.
Ended up buying another motor and wiring harness that was on a GoKart (yes, a Go kart) for a hundred buck$. Swapped engine and wiring harness…..runs like a top. I love this bike, I’ve had Harley’s and Buells and this bike gets way more attention.
