Glad you guys noticed the pipes and electrical containment. They are two of the coolest features of the bike. This build was never about rushing through to completion. It was meant to be therapy and enjoying the journey. I’ve had the image of this bike in my head for years and it was cool to see it come to life. I want to thank Ted for posting Woody here and I want to say thanks to all the folks that contribute to the site… much inspiration came from visits to xs650chopper. I also want to mention Jerry, he was a natural on a bike and the image of him on his XS2 was classic. The ’72 XS650 was built for him… he was like a rolling ad for the Yamaha XS!
