easy fix. your drawing oil through the jacket on your head gasket. always happens when you overheat the motor. usually caused by cranking on it while its sitting still. most people forget these are air cooled engines and need motion to keep them cool. they almost always burn through against the exhaust valve. awesome looking bike. hope to see it running right soon.

Head Gasket and valve oil seal. Might as well freshen up the top end and valve train while you’re at it.

Could it maybe be a worn out valve seal? leaking oil in the cylinder throu the head? Wrong ring order? thats my guesses

You are sucking in air through the head gasket, you can hear it after you blip the throttle. Not sure why your pulling oil though, you might have weak rings or a stuck oil control ring.

Check head gasket, compression test, leak down test or pull the head off, all the problems are in the head or below it.

Dude, mine did that due to a blown head gasket. I Put one in and it fixed it up perfect.

Did you rebuild the engine? If the second oil ring is upsidedown or stuck it will act as a vacuum on the crankcase sucking oil from it

The side that’s not getting hot may be the ignition coil is weak or out for that side. I had a problem similar to that. As for the oil I’ve read about that somewhere but can’t remember the exact cause. A repair manual probably covers it. Seems when think you know what problem is it’s usually something else.

looks like a motor rebuild has to happen in the near future. But at least it is a good lookin build you have done there – I really like the mooneyes hubcaps and the fact that it´s not so stretched out like the most hardtails I see on here.
