Normally I'd hate on a swoopy style tank, but it's hard to argue against with those pipes. Looks damn good, and should run like a raped ape with the upgrades.

she looks good, very nice profile. great job on mounting the rear fender. i'd like to try a paughco frame for the 650 some day, wasn't in the budget for the first build, but by the time i got the hardtail and the welding done, it wasn't that much more for a full frame. rear brake would make me a little nervous, i'd have the stabiliser rod on the other way so it's being pulled on and not pushed on when the rear brake is applied. seems it may fail in its present configuration so it might be wise to have it checked out by someone with more knowledge than me. not critisizing, just pointing out what may be a safety issue.

Looks great Kent. I may have had to sell my VStar 1100 Classic but I kept the XS650. Just about finished cleaning the carbs. They were some mess. Hopefully gonna have it on the road by middle of next week. Gonna register it tomorrow.

Diggin the bars especially, and the tank is nice too. Kind of a rare thing to see such a swoopy tank on an XS650, but it looks right at home on this one.
