Bike was pretty sweet stock from the picture forsure, but up close she'd been dropped and all but duct taped back together. Tank had a mean dent, bars tweaked, side cover had an inch of mud and a blind 4 year old musta painted them :)

So far I'm loving the shorter shocks, more stiff of a ride than the originals, you feel the bumps a little bit more but nothing that makes it unenjoyable what so ever. I think I gotta change the kickstand up a bit, with the shorter shocks the bike steems to really stand up straight. If you were to turn the handlebars to the right with the kickstand down it would just tip over... And looks wise its night and day, brings the fender down to the tire, I think it looks slick.

The "candy store" has been good to me so far. Thats where I got the guts (wiring) for my taillight from. They had a tailight for $4.95 or something like that, so I pulled that apart and transplanted it in to my 30's ford taillight shell and with a couple tweaks all was good.

And no rain thankfully!

Thanks fellas

"Alas new love bloomed." LOL
after the "epic 4 1/2 hour battle" , what do you think of the shorter shocks? I always kinda thought those would flatten the stance a bit more.... lookin good so far, keep us a "breast"!
