Man, I love your bikes. I, however ride Triumphs’. I would like to commend you all on these builds. I have a large place for Yamas’ in my heart as I have built RD’s and XS’s in chopper form with excellent results. Right now, however, I am trying to make an early, neglected rdc1 into a chopper and am having trouble with the water, if you know what I mean. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. You see, I’m only drunk and on a mission. I would only hope that this one won’t lift the front wheel and I want to hide the radiator!

I know there is tons of XS650’s available in the states. I don’t know how many made their way to Yukon. Good luck finding one man.

love the lower rail kick up on the hardtail. the whole bike looks great.

The front end is a DNA 2″ under springer with the stock neck and rake. Basically took the frame and cut it in half then welded up the hardtail. 21″ Harley front wheel, 12″ apes. Stock 16″ rear rim polished and respoked. The tank is a 3.3 gal peanut tank. Pipes are also made by Dennis out of 2″ pipe with no baffles and it sounds AWESOME! Josh at G & L Choppers made the faux oil tank and Shazam…Instant Bobber!
