Dude any update on this bike? followed it on TCU and loved it. I keep my eyes peeled every time i ride through SAC. Best looking xs i’ve seen in a while and its not blinged out at all!

Nifty bike dude. I am not sold on the bars and the tier choice but then again it’s not my bike. The frame and tank execution is totally wicked, and I would not change them a bit. Love this bike and would ride the knobbies off it!!!

What did you use for a triple tree offset? It looks like they are slightly ahead of your neckpin. And do the points where your rear tube sections pass through the trees run a straight line with your axle?

Excellent job pal, you nailed it and I hope you win. I’m all to familiar with trying to piece together a bike while a toddler(two actually in my case) naps. Praying your don’t wake them up with the grinder, hoping they sleep for just ten more minutes while you try to mount carbs. It adds a whole new light to the build process. Nice job. Hey Jungle, thanks. I think I also will be stealing some ideas from your build. I wish you would have made it in time .. The air filters are old westcoast flame arestors off of a jet ski.

Sorry for the confusion, the springers that I am building are gonna be a regular type narrow springer. I’ll have some pictures and info on my blog soon. I have no idea what I am gonna sell them for yet but they will be complete with bearings and races, stem, hardware etc.. a direct bolt on for an XS650.

Though I’m not a fan of the front fork, I do like the lines of the bike. What a beauty!
Almost found a donorbike to start building my own bobber but the owner didn’t want to sell in the end. So I’m hoping to be able to put my pictures on this site spring next year….

Hey Joe for now I am just gonna do a few reagular springers.. they should be ready to go in a few weeks.

Russ were gonna do a ride and camp out to Beldontown CA(about 100 miles from sac) for my 30th bday if you want to go … aug 28 and 29. Everyone is invited…. there are already 20 or more bikes going and a crash truck to pick up the pieces that fall off on the way.. it should be a great ride up the feather river canyon..

The frame is such a work of art…- I would love to see you win the contest with nothing more than two wheels, an engine, and a gastank mounted on a Perfectly Ballanced Perfectly Designed FRAME.
…..In other words, winning the contest with pure design integrety and concept…- Straight steel that you bought by the pound, cut bent and welded…designing and fabricating within the boundries of Genuine Deffinitions…
That is what I see in Bikes like Cream XSsssss, and Sotter Fae Scotland, and other bikes where the builder holds himself to rules and principals within boundries, and to requirements of Genuine Deffinitions….
It is fun to just take a rear wheel and let the design go to where ever it winds up…-sort of like dating a girl with tattoos and piercings, and purple hair…-It is also fun to play Headbanger Music without having to go to all the hassel of having to actually learn to play guitar….(Well…- IT IS….)
But motorcycles like this one give the rest of us Something To ASPIRE TO…..- for as the saying goes, “- it is better to aim at Something, – and Miss, – Than to aim at Nothing…- and Hit….”

Whoa I’ve liked the droopy short window bars for some time. You have used them tastefully in a tasty build. Looks like you’ve made great strides in the style department for all builders to hate you for. I’m sure lots of people will be borrowing from this build.
