Update. I bought another XS, a ’79. This one I’m going to chop, make it a hard tail. Already bought some nice parts. The wheels are ready now, sandblasted and powder coated gloss black. Also the discs are nice glossy black and I planed the brake surfaces. Right now I’m taking the forks apart en I’ll shave and polish the legs. I’m gonna polish as much alu parts as possible instead of powder coating everything. Pics soon!

I believe the stretch is about 4 inches. The shocks are shorter than normal. I’ m new to the scene, this my first ‘old’ bike. Much more fun to ride than modern fast bikes. Soon I’ll send in better pics and probably next year I’ll start building one myself. Love the XS, this one stays!

Great looking bike, not my style but I could learn to love it. How long is the stretch? Mine is being stretched from a 2 inch to now 4 inch and using shorter shocks as well.. are your shocks stock? Enjoy the XS.

This is the bike that made me buy an xs650.
About 2 years ago I saw it on a dutch site (it was for sale) and it was love at first site.
Happy to see it’s still araound !
