Rad – Bought it awhile back ,decided to change everything . Lowbrow mirror mount , Biltwell ,kung fu grips. Chopped the fender. Speed holes in battery box. Lane splitter handle bars are cool ,but will probably go to flat bars. Changing the color is happening this winter when we can take it completely down. Making new fender struts. Copper sissy bar is cool ,just not my style. Watch for that on eBay . This is by far my favorite bike though. Thanks you guys for giving us a place to show our work and, appreciate others work as well. Continue Reading →

Ian Pare – Kult Klassics – This bike started out as a parts bike that had come with another complete XS a while back. Everything on this bike was made in house here at Kult Klassics in British Columbia. I always liked the old bmx loop style frames, and after looking at a couple I bent up a hardtail following the original lines of the stock frame. The tank was a love hate relationship. I shaped it and dished it from scratch, but when I pressure tested it, my valve stuck open and I blew the thing inside out. Spent the next three days gently massaging in back to shape. Mark- I bought it as a running bike (pic with red tank) with the wrong tank, & sidepanels held on with zip ties, it was orignally a US Custom model & rode it like that for a while, the engine sounded ok but it started smoking badly, so I took it off the road for a while for a top end rebuild & a few mods. While I had the engine apart I had it bored out to 707cc & fitted Wiseco forged pistons & did a little porting on the head & fitted new cam chain guides, everything else was in great condition so no further engine work was needed, while the engine was out I removed the starter & gear & blanked off the hole, so I can get away with a small battery which now sits under the swingarm. The electrics are in a box behind the engine. Continue Reading →
