Roel – I built my bike in 3 winters. It was the first time that i build a bike. I really liked building and  working on it in my garage, I made a lot of the parts by myself, the frame, engine struts, fender, handlebars, exhaust, gas tank, little gas tank and front-end are all hand build by me. Jeremy – Hello all. When I was 16 my father built me a chopper to tool around on. I rode it quite a bit, never too far from home though. Then it got passed around by my brothers for awhile before coming back to me. Several years ago I resurrected it with the help from my father and we’ve been tweaking on it ever since.

Bought this bike as a non runner, with a fried wiring harness. But, the engine wasn’t froze up, so there was hope.  Stripped it totally down. Chopped off anything unnecessary, including most of the middle to rear section.  Stretched the swing arm 3 inches, and fabbed up a way to use to softail shocks I had.  I reworked the seat area of the frame to give it some nice curvy lines.  Continue Reading →

This is a 1976 xs650 that my dad and I bought a few years back. We started going to swap meets and buying ALOT of things we thought we might need. We started cutting it up and trying to come up with differant ideas of how we wanted this bike to end up looking, but between the two of us we had very little experience in welding.
