1982 XS 650 Brass Master

Arthur – This is my first attempt at building a bike. Came across this 1982 heritage special and decided to take a sawzall to it. All of the work on the bike has been dome by me except the paint on the tank, frame and fenders, rest of the parts are powder coated. Hard tail is made by TC bros.

Love the brass. Not overwhelming, nice touch. some close ups would be very nice, along with more details. Looks real good!!

Hope your ready for the “OMG!!! That’s a front FENDER!!!” reaction!

  2. Lance Boyle says:

Set your ass on the world class Brass Master and go fast. You don’t need a boarding pass. Blast your way to art class. It’s good on gas, so you can afford more grass.

  3. El Gaucho says:

What did you use to get the brass color on the spokes and such. Is that plating?

  4. Topspeed674 says:

    Stunning first time effort! Congrats!
Please add some more close up photos from all angles.

  5. turdherder says:

I’m with Dennis on this one. Not a big brass fan but with all the black it looks great. Definetly some more close ups would be nice. A nice clean build. Congratulations on a job well done!

  6. pickles says:

Definitely looks good, but we could use more pics and details. Let me start with the front fender…jk! Love the brass!

  7. fanoboss says:

    “OMG!!! That’s a front FENDER!!!”

    LOL, Love the Color

  8. CruzBoos says:

This babe is ready to hit the town! Really like how you dressed her and glad you didn’t use the fender in the last pic. I’ll wear a tux and ride up the red carpet for nomination, hell I could get remarried on her.
