Sore Loser StreetTracker

Comments

Adam – This is a 83 XS I found on eBay. I wanted a Street Tracker with a 2-up seat. I stripped the bike down. Swapped gas tanks from a earlier XS from friends at Hellbilly Cycles, who also rebuilt my frontend using Hughs Handbuilt XS frontend lowering kit, tuned the Mikunis and added some Vee Rubbers. Max Miille – XS650

Comments

Max – I saw an xs650 chopper at the skatepark and thought it was the coolest thing ever. I went home and found this website and started my addiction. Turns out my Dad gave an xs650 to his friend when I was born 20 years ago and was just sitting outside the past 10 years. Him being a good friend and because it was just sitting and rotting he gave me the bike last spring. The same time I got it my license had just gotten suspended so I went right into chopping and customizing it. Continue Reading →

1976 XS650

Comments

Ric – This is my 76 XS650.  Matching numbers and mostly stock.  I’ve done everything I can to resist cutting this one up but a little powder coating to make her look good never hurts.  Thought you might post her just to remind people these bikes looked pretty sweet back in the day.

81′ XS 650SE, Bobber

Comments

In short bought as a part exchange to shift a bike no longer desired with the aim of converting it to a “Bobber” though retaining the Ethos of both the original Yamaha concept  and a Bobber, hence softail. This has taken 8 months to complete though bought as a runner with very low mileage. This is now known as the “Alley cat” and thanks to my Brother, as without his fabricating skills it would have taken a lot longer, all part of my 50th Birthday celebrations.
