This Xs is built by WSDMoto out of orange county CA.

All the components that went into the build are TOP OF THE LINE! There were a lot parts that I initially made/bought for this build that I wasn’t 120% satisfied with so I replaced with the best of the best. Some of the parts and littlest details took months to locate and/or finish. Xs650 idle

Custom built xs650 full one ofcustom framel built with a 36 degree rake, Harley neck. 4 inch stretch and sits about 4.5 inches off the ground. Kick start only. 70’s Vintage and original chrome Hodaka tank. 2 under DNA springer. 1″ One-Off custom bars. 21″ front wheel with Avon. 16″ rear wheel. TC bros forwards. Biltwell seat. Custom exhaust. Carbs jetted for pipes and pod filters. New twist throttle, grips, clutch lever, and chopper mirror. I know I’m forgetting a lot.

72 XS650 rebuild

I have to call this a rebuild since most of the hard work was already done. I picked up this ’72 from a couple guys in Madison,WI. already hardtailed and the tank and fender mounted and it was running. THE BIKE WAS STARTED LAST SEPTEMBER WHEN I GOT MY NEW FRAME JIG.

IT WAS A 75( STILL IS). I ALWAYS WANTED TO DO A DROP SEAT BIKE AND SHY AWAY FROM THE ALWAYS,”OFF THE SHELF BIKE”. I STARTED WITH MAKING THE RADIUSED BACKBONE, THEN MY DROP SEAT HARDTAIL. ORIGINALLY I HAD A KIWI LEAFER ON HER, BUT THE WIFE WANTED A CHROME DNA INSTEAD. THE ELECTRICAL BOX HAD TO BE DIFFERENT, I JUST DONT LIKE ROUND CANS. Continue Reading →
