This 77 xs650 was completely built by Andrew Yocum from the D.C. metro area over a 4 month period.  The engine was completely rebuilt, had an electronic ignition installed and is now kick only.  The forks were shaved, power coated, and lowered 2½ inches.   Continue Reading →

Hi my name is Haryo Pramoe, I am a Chef who appeared on Indonesian television cooking shows. My hobby is riding motorcycles. I choose a Yamaha XS 650 year 1972 to build. I bought this in Sidoarjo East Java Indonesia costing us $ 3000. Having a Yamaha XS is my dream come true. The reason I like the XS is the Japanese motorcycle engine is easier to maintain.

Well, once i realized my bike wouldn’t be done in time last summer it sat untouched for a good 6 months but i’m back at it getting it ready for this summer. ended up making a couple of changes, came across a 21 inch dirt bike front rim with a drum brake for short money so i swapped out the bearings and lowed/rebuilt my forks while i was at it.
